So the whole idea is we work with the command line down here at the bottom of the screen. As you can see I can click there like that and I could type a command in if I want to. So I type in line for example and there is the line command. I press enter and now AutoCad is prompting me to specify the first point of my line. So the whole idea of the command line is it's a legacy tool from older versions of AutoCad, when all you could do was actually just type in commands. This is before Windows came along and we obviously had things like icons and toolbars and so on where things became clickable. So, what we're going to do in this course is take you through how the command line works, how you can utilize the command line to work more.
